One evening, three good friends sat around conspiring to take over the world.

Kevin was generally against the idea of world domination, but didn't mind the idea of forming some kind of creative cooperative. Ingrid just wanted to make art, but didn't mind the idea of a little extra money. Damian had trained in the infamous underground cat rodeos of the Pacific Northwest and knew that he could bring his friends around.

Eventually, they decided to make shirts - shirts that no one would ever want to take off.

And so it was that Damian went out and learned how to screen print a few of Ingrid's best designs. After a successful show at their favorite coffee shop, the three decided to bring in professional help. When their search failed to produce anyone of genuine quality, they called in their friend Jeremy.

Thus was born The Human Effort - a company dedicated to impressing the world with the possibilities that still exist for creative people who are willing to get off their duff and actually make something.
